Hoy vamos a hablar del proyecto educativo. ¿Qué es el proyecto educativo de un centro? El proyecto educativo es un documento que describe las bases del centro como los valores, los objetivos o las metas de dicho centro. 

En este caso echaremos un vistazo al Proyecto Educativo del IES Pinar de la Rubia, un centro público de Valladolid y compararemos sus valores con las del Reglamento de Régimen Interior del mismo centro. 

El proyecto educativo del "Pinarillo" (así comúnmente llamado)´, que es el instituto al cual fui durante toda la ESO y Bachillerato, está basado en el Artículo 2 del Capítulo 1 de la LOMCE. Divide su proyecto en dos tipos de objetivos: en primera instancia, los objetivos de carácter académico y segundo, los objetivos de carácter cívico o personal. Me llama la atención, a su vez, el hecho de que tienen unos objetivos generales y otros específicos, haciendo que el proyecto no se pierda en la teorización, sino dando unos ejemplos claros de implementación. 

Dentro de los objetivos más cívicos y personales, a pesar de que la LOMCE fomenta más la igualdad, se parece dar más importancia al comportamiento y a la disciplina, para conseguir un respeto y tolerancia tanto entre los propios estudiantes, como con su entorno. 

En los objetivos académicos específicos, existe uno que yo misma experimenté, y que no es propio de todos los centros: el 1º y 2º idioma francés o inglés. Esta medida permite a los alumnos decidir a qué idioma prefieren dedicarle más horas. Dado que el inglés es una lengua que se ha estudiado durante más años, da la opción de potenciar el francés.

Sin embargo, cuando echamos un vistazo al Reglamento de Régimen Interior, podemos observar que se defiende mucho las libertades personales de los alumnos y sus derechos. No obstante, también se hace énfasis en las convivencia y en la integridad física y moral de dichos alumnos. Por ello, aunque hay una diferencia entre el Proyecto Educativo y el Reglamento de Régimen Interior, no es especialmente significativa. 

Os invito a echar un vistazo a los Proyectos Educativos de los centros donde hayáis estudiado, ya que es muy interesante ver cuales son sus valores y objetivos, y compararlos también con lo que vosotros experimentarais en dicho centro. 

Así mismo, debéis recordar que crear un centro y un proyecto educativo es un gran trabajo para los docentes y debe ser reconocido como tal. Sin embargo, como docentes, es muy importante recordar que no consiste únicamente en teorizar nuestros objetivos como centro, sino en llevarlos a cabo y cumplirlos en cada uno de los estudiantes (al menos, intentarlo).

Today we are going to talk about the educational project. What is the educational project of a school? The educational project is a document that describes the basis of the center such as values, objectives or goals of the center.

In this case we will take a look at the Educational Project of IES Pinar de la Rubia, a public school in Valladolid, and compare its values with those of the Internal Regulations of the same school.

                                                            

The educational project of the "Pinarillo" (as it is commonly called), which is the high school I attended throughout ESO and Bachillerato, is based on Article 2 of Chapter 1 of the LOMCE. It divides its project into two types of objectives: firstly, academic objectives and secondly, civic or personal objectives. I am struck, in turn, by the fact that they have some general objectives and other specific ones, so that the project does not get lost in theorizing, but gives clear examples of implementation. 

Within the more civic and personal objectives, despite the fact that the LOMCE promotes more equality, it seems to give more importance to behavior and discipline, to achieve respect and tolerance among the students themselves, as well as with their environment. 

In the specific academic objectives, there is one that I experienced myself, and that is not typical of all centers: the 1st and 2nd French or English language. This measure allows students to decide which language they prefer to dedicate more hours to. Given that English is a language that has been studied for more years, it gives the option to enhance French.

However, when we take a look at the Internal Regulations, we can observe that the personal freedoms of the students and their rights are strongly defended. However, it also emphasizes the coexistence and the physical and moral integrity of the students. Therefore, although there is a difference between the Educational Project and the Internal Regulations, it is not particularly significant. 

I invite you to take a look at the Educational Projects of the centers where you have studied, as it is very interesting to see what their values and objectives are, and also compare them with what you experienced in that center. 

Likewise, you should remember that creating a center and an educational project is a big job for teachers and should be recognized as such. However, as teachers, it is very important to remember that it is not only about theorizing our goals as a school, but also about carrying them out and achieving them for each and every student (at least trying to do so).
